SUMMARY:Arts and Crafts \, Knit & Natter
DESCRIPTION:Derrick Spence\, our resident artist and teacher\, works with you\, we have an extensive range of art equipment\, including light boxes and we welcome all abilities\, there is something for everyone. Since we began a year ago\, the progress and quality of the group’s work has been amazing. We are a group of ‘do your own thing’ budding artists under the gentle guidance of our resident artist Derrick. If you missed our exhibition at the church at the end of October\, come and see what we do\, Wednesday mornings 10:30 – 12:30.Why not come for a free taster session\, beginners and more experienced artists are always welcome. Art materials are provided AND….as much coffee and cake as you can manage. We also have a knit and natter for those wanting to knit\, lots of support available for anyone wanting to improve their knitting skills \, we make no charge for Knit & Natter but we recommend a donation of £3.50 to cover the excellent refreshments.  Knit and Natter will be donating to Hope Charity (for the homeless) in Worksop\, if you have any hats\, gloves\, jackets coats etc\, please pop them down to the church or Cindy and Brian at the School House in West Markham (opposite the Church). Crafts with Judith Osborne\, a variety of activities are available to do with Judith’s help. Cost is £8.00 and runs in 6 week blocks.
